wtf is george hill?
that , i hope both teams fail
Man...the sophmores are one uva long, athletic team. Should be fun.
Yi Jianlian is top 10 in All Star votes and doesn't ven make the sop re team? Give the fans what they beg to see!
George Hill had some nice early success while Parker/Manu were out. But now, he's gone back to the "rookie on a veteran team" role. It's hard to choose him over ANY of these guys. All of these rookies are deserving.

yup. maybe if tony had been out longer. hard to justify giving a player who usually plays less than 15mpg a spot.

Anyone know what happened to Bron Bron?
The participants in the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam were selected by the NBA's assistant coaches, with each team submitting one ballot. For the first time in the game's history, two current NBA players, All-Star starters Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat -- veterans of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge and part of T-Mobile's "All-Star Faves" -- will serve on the coaching staffs, Howard for the Sop res and Wade for the Rookies. The head coaches for the Rookie and Sop re teams will be the lead assistants from the 2009 NBA All-Star Game coaching staffs.
thats stupid...how the does Carl Landry not make it? The dude made the all rookie 2nd team last yr...
He deserves it more than Brooks and Scola IMHO
It would have been nice to see Nic Batum on the rookie squad, but it's still nice to see 2 of our boys.
tough break for hill, hes deserving but cant really justify replacing anyone on that list.
Chalmers> Gordon (Clippers suck ass)
But yet Chalmers>Hill still.
Hill is a stud and will be a very good player he's still learning.
wtf , eric gordon >>>>>>>> mario chalmers. he single handed almost beat the pistons . and he dropped 41 points on the thunders.
gordon play of late definitly overtakes chalmers, hes been averaging like almost 30 points a game in the last couple games.
Chalmers' play has been inconsistent as of late, esp his 3's and TO's.
D.J. Augustin's injury also hurt his chances.
Gordon >>> Hill > Chalmers.
Gordon is bigger stronger and more athletic than both. But if you look at the relative impact, Hill's per-40 numbers are better than both.
I think hes at a greater disadvantage because he plays sporadic minutes while Chalmers and Gordon know what they are getting. When Hill plays 15+ minutes his production goes up exponentially.
Gordon -- 17.1 PPG - 2.9 RPG - 3 APG
Hill -- 15.9 PPG - 5.6 RPG - 4.7 APG
Chalmers -- 12.2 PPG - 3.2 RPG - 5.9 APG
Kevin Love should be in.
