Hornets up 46-44, but both teams have been very sloppy. Fouls, missed FTs, turnovers, bad defense, players getting hurt, technicals, and ugly throwback uniforms. Fortunately everyone on our bench has scored tonight and Denver is cold from the perimeter. 2nd half worries me.

Nene's scoring, but his defense has been suspect off the pick-n-roll. Plus, J.R. smith takes alot of shots aways from Nene.

Devin Brown won this game tonight. He scored 18 pts off the bench and his defense on Billups and Smith slowed down Denver's offense. CP3 didn't play spectacularly and Posey was 1-13 from the field, but Peja was fantastic again, our defense was great, and the bench was phenomenal. Plus, Denver got frustrated from the refs calling alot of fouls, some questionable as well. George Karl needs to do a better job keeping his composure because his team feeds off his frustrations. Anyway, big win making us 4-1 without West and Chandler.

This just goes to show Chandler and West are not true difference makers.

We had a losing record last season without West. The difference is our bench has improved with Posey, Devin Brown, and Antonio Daniels, plus the development of Hilton Armstrong as a reliable big man. Also, Peja has been on fire. We do miss Chandler on the pick-n-rolls since CP3 misses those easy alley-oops to him. We don't have another guy other than Julian Wright who can get up there. Wright is playing well too starting for West.

Why is Posey taking 13 shots on a night when he can only make 1? He's the new Robert Horry, nothing more, nothing less.

He forced alot of tough shots playing the power forward position. Kenyon Martin gave him alot of defensively and he struggled offensively. He did have 9 rebounds off the bench.

Probably just as bad if not worse . Hornets are one of the worst 2nd quarter teams in the league when paul takes an extended rest.

Except the last few games with West out. For some reason, the bench is playing really well since.

LOL yea really. the only reason he played tonight was because Peterson got hurt. Byron Scott had enough of Brown's weeks ago and has benched him ever since. tonight was a fluke from Brown. I think we can all agree on that. However, Peja won the game tonight IMO ..... funny how Peja is averaging 23pts per game and shooting .530% in the last 5 games without that ball hog David "I want MY NAME in the paper" West in the lineup to hold him down.
