well I would take Chambers over Dirk before I would take Strickland over Tony

Strickland and his no look pass cost killed us at the end of the Portland series. Then he goes out and breaks his hand in a night club....too with Strickland.

Tom Chambers in his prime could beat Dirk one-on-one. More athletic, could take the ball to the basket.

Strickland and Parker are similar. Parker's probably faster, Strickland the better on-the-ball defender. Not sure who's a better shooter. Maybe Parker?

Parker was a Finals MVP.....strickland wasnt.

Parker is the better shooter, slasher, and scorer.

Strickland is the better passer, defender.

Strickland never played with Duncan even though he was with Robinson. Actually Strickland had a history of being a malcontent which gives another advantage to Parker.

Strickland was very good, but parker shoots an incredible % and is probably one of the best penetration pg in the last decade.

I've made fun of Tony more than anyone on the planet, but even I can admit that he's twice the player Rod Strickland ever was. Payton is an idiot. I'm just glad the show didn't last any longer or they would've asked "Manu or Sarunas Marcuilionis" and I would've thrown a shoe at my TV.

strickland got steals, but i never thought him a good defender.

come crunch time in the playoffs when you need a guy to stay in front of his opponent, i'd go with parker without hesitation.

    in 16 yrs Strickland has 14,463 pts, 7,987 assist, 4,084 rebs, 2,862 to's and shot 45% fg, 72% ft and 28% from 3's

    in Parker's 7 years 9,351 pts, 3,189 assist, 1,775 rebs, 1,436 to's and shoots 48% fg, 72% fts and 31% from 3's

Strickland lifetime avg 13.2 pts 7.2 ast 1.4 stls and 2.6 to's and slightly better in his 52 career playoff games

Parker lifetime avg so far 16.3 pts 5.5 ast 1 stl and 2.5 to's a game with only 2 extra points avg in his playoff career in 117 games

the difference maker imo Parker has way more help...I say even
