I consider the Land of the Lost remake to be a direct attack against my childhood.
Agreed.
the careerbuilder.com commercial was the best by far
Were all the good ads in the first quarter or so? Cus I missed the first part of the game, and most of the rest of them sucked.
I liked Etrade with the cute baby boy.
The punching of the koala made me laugh VERY loud.
"Oh dear"![]()
The commercials sucked ass this year
Dunno if it's cuz of the Recession and companies can't plop down millions for seconds of prime t.v. but damn
The Mcgruver stuff was gold
also, mmm star trek

blame my damn parents, only had 1 TV growing up and it was TNG or nothin'.
People actually watch Star Trek?
not anymore, just looks like a good movie.
HORRIBLE year for ads once again. They actually...pay...people to write this right?
Denny's and Careerbuilder were the only ones that stuck out in the long run.
I completley stopped down for movie trailers, but they don't have lasting appeal.
Budweiser and Bud Light seemed oddly off this year too.
They should have just put in the Sausage commercial from last year....pure gold....

Bonus points to anyone who knows the NBA player that was a Sleestak before playing in the NBA.
No googling.
And Pistons fans are automatically barred from answering this question.
PS: I hope this movie is using Tenacious D's version of the theme song.
And funt, how are you again? Because I was in first or second grade when Sid and Marty Croft ruled Saturday Mornings.
PSA: Horses doing stupid quit being funny 10 years ago.
Chimps working on cars = eternally funny
Yes, the MacGruber ads were awesome!
+1. Both those ads had me laughing out loud.
"Take. These broken wings."
"Stop it."
"What? I can't flex the golden pipes? It's inspirationa-"
"It's not the appropriate venue."
"And learn to fly again..."
I'm 30. It wasn't a new show when I watched it, but it was one of my favorites.
When I was in 3rd/4th grade I had to wake really early in the morning and go to the neighbor's house when my mom left for work. There was a channel in LA that showed The Monkees, Land of the Lost, Thundercats, and the limited animation Thor cartoons from the 60s. It was the only good thing about having to wake up at 4:30 every morning.
Better than last years ads. And yes, Pepsgruber was awesome.
The Bob Dylan/will.i.am spot pissed me off.
