I did a search for it on this forum before I asked and apparently there is something in the 2k9 thread, but I don't want to read through 40+ pages to find it.

If playing a game on XBL online with two people on the same console, will two headsets work? From what I've been reading, it looks like if you're able to log in with 2 separate XBL accounts that each will be able to use a headset. When playing two people on the same team for like NHL 08, it makes the second player log in as a guest so I assume the headset would not work for them...?

Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with this for any games?

Yeah, it'll work if two people have a headset.

No you can't unless both accounts are gold accounts, Guest can never used a headset. you have 2 options here.

    A. 1 person has the mic but outputs the headset to the tv so you both can hear.
I know there is a option to make the voices come out the tv speakers.

    B. I don't know if this works 100% but on my old Xbox me and my brother would used a mic splitter. this one comes with a splitter if you look at the other pics it shows it.
