Gotcha = they still will (most likely). For you statisticians:

"Degree of confidence currently 65% (95% Confidence interval = 50%-80%)"

Last May, Spurs up 2 - 0 on Lakers, what was the degree of confidence that the Spurs would win the series?

Recent play = 50% due to worrysome trends lately don't portend a championship team but they are still talented and experienced.
65% (Most likely) They raise play somewhat going into playoffs, They are facing a couple of strong teams, but can handle most of them even without an extra gear = 65%,
80% Chance if we see the Spurs turn in on go into playoffs killing teams like they did at home early in the year, then I will give them a superb chance, guessing that only a phenominal performace (perhaps, Detroit?? also hitting all offensive cylnders) could top them = 80%.

There are no sure things, I believe Spurs will stablize turn it on and go into the playoffs with about a 2/3 chance of winning the le or higher than any other team.

    But its all a guess!

Recent play = 50%, logic they are facing a couple of strong teams, but can handle most of them even without an extra gear = 65%, if they play at their best most of time in playoffs only a phenominal performace (perhaps, olnly Detroit also hitting all offensive cylnders) could top them = 80%.

There are no sure things, I believe Spurs will stablize turn it on and go into the playoffs with a 2/3 to 4/5's chance of winning it all but its all just a GUESS!
    That's very Bayesian of you...

State your own odds based on recent play, probable level going into playoffs, and optimal level going in:
