Lakers
Still the Lakers?
The Spurs?
How about the Nuggets?
Could it be the Hornets?
Or is it now the Blazers?
Lakers still. Bynum will probably be back. MCL injuries are about the "best" knee injuries possible.
Even without Bynum, the Spurs have just as much trouble with Odom.
Clippers
Lakers in the West…But the East takes it again this year…
(Like that was ever in doubt)…
Personally I don't think the Lakers can beat us now.
Lakers......but the Spurs are a close 2nd. Regardless of this injury the only 2 teams with a realistic shot in the West are these 2 teams.
It doesn't matter, the Spurs, Hornets, Rockets, Nuggets, Jazz, Mavs and Suns can.
It's still the Lakers.
You wouldn't think the 1996 Bulls could beat the Blazers.
They couldn't this year. They're WAAAAY too old.
Dont tell me you believe what you just said....YOU KNOW without Bynum the Spurs are the better team....![]()
Ok. Don't know what tlong is smoking but the East AND West are three horse races I think....In the West the Lakers, then Spurs, then Hornets...and my darkhorse being Denver. In the East the Celtics, Cavs, Magic, and my darkhorse being the Pistons if they can put it together. The 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th seeds in the West are going to be a fight between Houston, Portland, Dallas, Utah, and Phoenix.
It's still the Lakers. They lost Bynum last season around this same time and they still managed to grab the #1 seed...and that was with a much tougher Western Conference. This season, the Western Conference isn't as strong so the Lakers should definitely be ok. Add to it that the Spurs, arguably the second best team in the West, have their toughest schedule in the 2nd half of the season, and it adds up the Lakers being ok.
Totally agree with you, but let's wait what happens before the trade deadline
Do Mason, Hill, and Bonner make the Spurs that much better from last season's team?
The Lakers have Chris Mihm & Josh Powell this year...Two of the best back up big men in the history of the NBA...
F***N Yea.....
