Tony Parker Sr. remembers bringing his young son from Paris to the elder Parker's hometown of Chicago during the height of the Bulls' heyday in the Michael Jordan era. It was easy for the youngster to get caught up in the excitement surrounding those championship teams.

Even then, the younger Parker had thoughts about his own future as a basketball player in the United States. Shortly after learning he was selected by the coaches as a reserve on the 2009 Western conference All-Star team, Parker told Spurs Radio, "Back then I had a dream to make it to the NBA, but I never really thought about making the all star team or about winning championships. Now I will go to my third All-Star game and I have already won three rings. I feel like my life has been blessed."

Parker's dad instilled in him the importance of working hard and keeping a positive at ude. The transition to the NBA was not easy for a 19 year-old from France, but he was somehow able to handle the pressures that come with being a point guard on a le contender. Surely, the lessons he learned from his dad and those memories

Do they give Schoening 5 minutes and one insipid quote to come up with 3 short paragraphs that recounts nothing but well-known points?
