I'm liking the guy already. I also sense a positive atmosphere as Ernie & Kenny seem to appreciate his analysis.
Props to Malone.
I hope he stays till Chuck comes back...
He's got a cool Southern Accent. Reminds me of someone who worked there as well..
I'm down.
The Mailman is much more tolerable than those other two clowns (Webber and Payton). He's insightful and very easy to listen to.
As much as I couldn't stand Karl Malone on the court in his playing days.
And as Weird as he is from those 'stories, about him in Utah. He doesn't strike me as a moron like Gary Payton and Webber.
I don't mind Malone as an analyst..but he's still the same deadbeat father that ignored his child, and is the same guy that had sex with a 12(?) year old girl when he was around 20..
Just living the american dream
Jazz will wiin tonight bc The Mailman is on the studio
Jazz will win tonight, because they're playing against the Mavs..
that too![]()
So they're looking for someone dumber than Barkley, then?
just make sure he doesnt do sunday games, cause we know he doesnt deliver on sundays
Boy he's really good. I gotta say, after a lifetime of rooting for Malone and listening to him talk, I'm moderately surprised.
Malone is still a piece of and I still thank the basketball gods every day that he never won a ring.
The only thing I can remember from Karl is " Pick & Roll"
I wonder what players playing now will become TV analysts. Most are ringless.
Just wait until he starts hunting for little Mexican girls.
what stories?
+1.
I'll admit he's a decent commentator, but nowhere near as entertaining as Chuck. And he's got the gall to joke about how half the games he missed in his career were because somebody "got in his space"....![]()
Exactly.
What the is up with TNT and hiring deadbeats for NBA fans to watch?
I guess that Karl Malone story didn't make the headlines on CNN...you just know the people working with him on TNT have that news story in the back of their minds all the time.
Then you got the gambling and DUI Barkley.
I guess TNT doesn't give a damn since the show has been pretty successful but there's got to be more entertaining and legit sportscasting talent out there.
