I've seen all the evidence I need to see that the 2008-2009 Lakers are better than the 2008-2009 Celtics.

Now the only thing I'm uncertain of is whether the Lakers are better than the Cavs.

They showed a lot of heart, that stoned look on KG's face was priceless.

they certainly have the head-to-head matchup so far, but both games were close..so I can't really say "LA is better than Boston"..we'll have to see how both teams look going into the playoffs, and the injury situation..Bynum at 90% would give LA a clear edge in a 7-game series IMO..

Tonight was close, but Bryant shot like , the lakers were on a back to back, and Bynum was out.

    So, LA > Boston

Boston came into both games with double digit win streaks and swagger, and the Lakers took away that swagger.

The Celtics are a fluke champion.

Actually Rondo showing some toughness is not a bad thing....the problem is if you show toughness vs Kobe it usually back fires.

Easy to say when the refs call a bs foul on Garnett. LA

agreed but didnt see kobe step up until late 4th when he nailed 3 treys in a row. awesome game but this showed the lakers can play tough enough to win in boston unlike last year

Like Garnett is a difference maker in tight games down the stretch

    Gasol got mauled too

Bryant "shooting like " is what usually happens when they play Boston, so that's nothing new..

Bynum being out is important, but Bynum is an injury risk any time he steps on the floor at this point, so it's not an excuse IMO..

KG also fouled out, which had an impact..

I don't think anybody can really make a judgment on the better team right now..the playoffs are obviously different..I think both teams are confident they can beat the other though..

Boston needs another role player to get back to last year's form though..they have too many inconsistent players offensively in their rotation..you can't depend on Davis, Powe, House and even Rondo on some nights..

The NBA Finals don't say anything other than the 07-08 Celtics were better than the 07-08 Lakers.

    Different year, different teams.

With Perkins and Davis on the floor the Lakers can play off them

Lakers were coming off a back to back. They are clearly the better team even without Bynum, which is hilarious. Kobe looked tired as which was expected considering he shot 55 times over the past two games.

See you guys at the parade.

Boston's a much worse team this season, I don't care what their record says. They better get on their hands and knees and beg PJ Brown to come back.

Not going to happen still a of a team. They just got screwed with the Garnett foul and no call on Allen's foul. The player they are going to miss is Posey. I think Boston made a mistake getting cheap on him.
