Garnett grew 2 inches since coming into the league but I am sure Duncan has longer reach.
Can I ask a stupid quesion?
Some say that TD is actually 6 foot 10 tall and they say KG is standard 6'11 and Shaq is 7'1
When I look at some scenes or shots which are concerned about TD stands by KG and Shaq's side on courts I can see that TD is obviously shorter than KG about 1 inch
Anyone knows the answer about this question? what I wanna say is that no matter how tall TD is, I still root for him and love him like what I am doing in my daily life and why I ask a question like this is just my curiosity

yes, he's 6'10" with his hands down.
While you're at it, how tall is Mahinini? When it was reported he had successful surgery he was listed at 6'10. I always thought he was 6'11.
I remember seeing something where Garnett didn't want to be listed as 7 feet, so they just kept saying he's 6'11". He's more like 7'.. maybe a tad more.
To me Duncan looks like a 7 footer
I know KG is 7'0. I always assumed Duncan is 6'10-6'11.

It is common for people to shrink in old age..but in their 30's? Tim better watch his calcium intake...that is what got Bill Walton, he was a vegatarian who didn't eat right...

Duncan isn't 6'10, he's definitely bigger than that..
KG's listed height is too short..

The only point is is that we would't trade Tim for Garnett and his twin brother.
As others have said, Duncan listed at 7' was a marketing thing with the Spurs to play up the 'Twin Towers' angle. After Robinson retired Duncan asked the team to list him at his 'real' height of 6'11. I believe the Spurs Media Guide changed for the '03-'04 season.
You've got to be careful if you're trying to tell with pics, Duncan slouches.

Wingspan is more important than actual height.
I'm sure he is at least 6'11. I don't think i have seen anyone listed at 6'9 or 6'10 he wasn't clearly taller than..
his wingspan is definitely huge though..

Does it really matter how tall Tim is?
KG is a little taller than his listed height of 6'11". One time Flip Saunders called him 6'13" because Garnett didnt want to be listed or known as a 7 footer. I guess like Tim he feels maybe people assume 7 footers as centers, or being limited.
Its clear KG has about half an inch on Tim, so my best bet would be 6'11" in shoes, maybe a fraction taller, and about 6'10" without. I think the lucky thing for Tim is that he doesnt have much of a neck, so his shoulders are higher than most guys his height - which gives him a bit of a standing reach advantage.
Its all semantics anyway.
