Don't know if this has already been posted here but my wife went to Wendy's on her lunch break today and said that one thing of chicken nuggets now costed $1.29. Don't know about any other increases on the menu but I the nuggets sure went up. Man that sucks! That's probably one of the best things that was on the 99 cent menu.

The chicken from Burger King isn't bad, especially when you get a nice .99 ICEE to go with them.

I still eat $5 Subway sandwiches. They seem worth it.
i bought a sun harvest salmon filet/rice pilaf meal for $4.00
99cent items are running low..the next pitch is 5$
5$ subs
5$ meals
etc
AND... the double cheeseburger at McD's is now $1.29... THIS REALLY SUCKS.
I think they replaces it with the McDouble. God only knows what comes on that sandwich though.
And a Cici's buffet is effing $4.99 now. what a bunch of horse ! I can understand eating 25 slices of nasty pizza for $2.99, but they just lost a loyal customer with this $4.99 !

I knew the day would come when Dollar Menus just wouldn't make fiscal sense. Sad, sad day indeed.
One day we'll talk about the dollar like our grandparents talk about the dime.
Funny thing is everyone keeps talking about "deflation", and the cost of shipping things has gone down dramatically as gas and diesel prices have dropped by 50%, natural gas prices are way down, electricity is less (if you are a large buyer) yet prices keep going up on everything. Hmm.
Sonic has come up recently with a dollar menu.
The reason behind it is to get you to also buy something like a $6 value meal, a $3.50 sandwich or a $1.50 cup of ice with a splash of Coke.
