Gonna have to try that out sometime.
Anyone interested in hiking, walking, running, camping, picnicing, bird watching, star gazing should go to Eishenhower Park. It is located off of NW Military, just outside 1604. They have over 5 miles of paved and natural trails as well as pavillions with grills and a climbing wall and slide for the kiddos. It is NOT Brack park. No radios, bikes, roller blades and no open areas; it is heavily wooded. It is great to take a stroll or take a challenging hike. There are great areas along the trails to take pics or view SA. There is an observation tower at the top of the hill and you can see all the way downtown. They allow pets but you have to pick up after them. I go there at least 4 times a week after work, take my mp3, and get a good, stress relieving workout. I highly recommend it for those who haven't been.

I tried to get out there a while back, but they closed off the Camp Bullis roadway, and thats the way I used to get to it. I just turned around and went driving instead.
No problems now Manny. It is beautiful out there. Check it out. I especially enjoy hiking when it is raining. No one out there.
My girlfriend and I have been trying to find good places to get out and hike. We'll definitely have to check this place out once a sunny day comes around.
Thanks for the recommendation.
"Get out and hike"

I wish I could take my truck to the top.

Uh, what should I do, push my truck to the top?
No.. It's called walking , you know, like for EXCERCISE...
