Wow, the Hornets can't stay above water in this economy even with a good team. Guess I was right about the long-term viability of New Orleans after all.

He is, but I'm curious if Chandler will revert back to the scrub he was in Chicago. I like Westbrook, but he's not Chris Paul.

Tough day to be a Hornets fan though - it's gotta suck knowing your franchise has to sell off players, even when the team is good in this economy.

Getting none of the 8,000 first round picks the Thunder has in this deal is mind boggling. ing bunch of amatuers

Hey let's sell off our 1st round pick for $3 million dollars because we are "contenders" and can't afford to develop a younger player at this time.

Let's go buy James Posey because we are "contenders" now and we need big game experience.

Hey after 50 games let's scratch all that and trade our only 7 footer for a box of popcorn and toilet tissue.

This part of your comment makes no sense. Half the teams in this league are struggling in "this economy". It's no coincidence that Raef Lafrentz's expiring contract is a hotter trading commodity than Amare Stoudamire.

A very bad trade for NO and i'm pretty sure Chris Paul is pissed.

I think he's going to demand a trade very soon. BTW Byron Scott could replace Phil Jackson very soon, and it could be as early as next season.

I couldn't agree more. OKC must be considering Jennings in June because Chandler needs a great passer on offense and needs to be involved on offense to play defense. Basically he needs PG to have any use at all.

Blah. this. Hornets give up on the season. The Saints cut Duece. I'm going to go get drunk listen to some old Smiths/Morrissey records and cut myself in the dark. ing .
