First, I'd like to say that I'm not the kind that like starting threads left and right or that like drawing attention to himself but I felt like writing something about me while facing those two Spurstalk 'milestones'.

Being a spurs foreign fan is not always easy but became easier and easier with the years. For me it started when I was 13 and balling in france. I felt enamored with the Robinson's lead spurs through the rare papers about the NBA. For the french, "5 Majeur" was the bible. But nothing was really broadcasted except maybe the all star game and the NBA finals on the expensive channel "Canal+".

But since then, the internet made a drastical change and Canal+ began broadcasting more and more games at night. My english, despite being far from awesome, allowed me to read articles about the NBA and particularly the spurs.

Then came the blessing for french's spurs fan. They drafted Tony Parker. The fact is, I like Tony but the best part is that the way he performed drew a lot of attention in France and the media made an effort to broadcast the spurs in priority.

The next two major events in my spurs fandom history were finding spurstalk and the developpement of the streaming. Sadly, when you live so far away and that you cheer for a small market team, the nationaly televised games are just a handfull and aren't enough to satisfy your needs to watch your team's games. The streaming changed that.

Spurstalk gave me everything else. Though I don't post a lot, I read a lot... and for quite a long time now. This board has been part of my life since me registering and I wanted to take these 'milestones' as an opportinity to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who "run the show" and those who post either awesome takes or are just plain funny to read.
I won't name everybody but at least a couple are necessary. Kori and timvp, obviously, for your time, the way you run the board and your ball/spurs knowledge. Slomo, for his work on the board, his graphic skills and his sense of humour. FWD, BaselineBum, SolidD, Marcus Bryant, MannyIsGod and some more for the takes and revelant comments they can come up with most of the time.
Tpark for the single time (out of ten) where he shares his ball knowledge w/o acting like an asshole. Duncan228, of course for all her work collecting articles. I won't forget the funny ones like Sequ or Mouse that bring that little something that makes this board like no other on the web. I'll finish with a couple of foreign fans that deserves to be mentioned, Bruno of course (I don't even need to say why as he's obviously one of the best posters down here), ManuManiac one of the first argies to bring something more to the table than the usual Manu>>>Tony, and all of you that, like me, need badly some more sleep because sleeping three hours a night to watch a regular season game proves how good of a fan you are.

    Thank you, ST's community and

Thank you. I try to do my best because I know how irritating it can be to read sentences with mistakes every three words.

Is that all you have to ask?
