I think it would be pretty cool to see NBA players such as Kobe and Lebron play one on one. What match-ups would ya'll want to see?? And of those match-ups who would win?? I know it won't ever happen but it's fun to speculate.

Can't believe nobody's even mentioned a matchup involving the most hard to keep up with player in the league. The guy Kobe Bryant, along with most commentators said was the most fun guy to watch in the league..Manu. Manu vs. D Wade or Manu vs. T-Mac. Good matchups. With his left handed play and unorthodox style, he'd be REAL hard to keep up with.

A agree, I think Manu could take T-mac but I think D Wade would be a great match-up for him. Hard to say.

Oh yeah..Manu would handle T-Mac...D Wade would be tough, but I think Manu could do it..he's got this way of getting around people, and just getting the ball in the hoop, no matter what.

D-Wade is a good defender though. He gets a lot of blocks for a guard.

Tony Parker Vs. Chris Paul - Tony..Tony's too fast. Paul would get a lot of shots in, but Tony would be able to drive.
Vince Carter Vs. Tracy McGrady - VC. T Mac is losing a step lately, and VC is having one of his better years.
KG Vs. Duncan - Duncan. Timmy's got the Bank shot, and has always owned Garnett.
Kobe Vs. LeBron - This is a tough one, I'd give the one on one matchup to Lebron, because of strength, but in a team game, I'd give it to Kobe every time.
Shaq Vs. Dwight Howard - Howard, definitely. His athleticism would put him over the top. Much too fast for the diesel.
    Manu vs. T-Mac - Manu...like I said before, T-Mac has lost a step.
Manu vs. D-Wade - I'd say this would be a REALLY good one. I'd give it to Manu, though, because of his unorthodox play. A matchup as close as these two, something as small as that might be enough to put him over the top.

Obviously, the only correct answer is Manu vs TP.

Tony Parker Vs. Chris Paul - Tony, I think he could beat any PG one on one.
Vince Carter Vs. Tracy McGrady - Vince, he's just better than McGrady.
    KG Vs. Duncan - Duncan.
Kobe Vs. LeBron - Kobe just because he's Kobe
Shaq Vs. Dwight Howard - I say Howard would win too athletic and young.
    Manu vs. T-Mac - Manu.
Manu vs. D-Wade: Manu by a hair, but I'm biased.

The NBA would certainly love that. Might as well lose any pretense that they're trying to promote a team game. I watched enough one on one basketball when the Celtics were crappy and Paul Pierce ran isolations 45 times a night.

I figured someone would say that. It's a valid point though, but I mean a true one on one game no other players involved.

I don't think it'd be all that interesting. Three point shots and slam dunks are pretty dull without a game for them to go around. Are you old enough to remember Dr J vs. Kareem on Pay Per View?

Shaq vs. Kobe... I'd just like to see Shaq lay Kobe out after he gets tired of Kobe embarrassing him. It would be comedy gold.
