I think Parker is a very good player. I think he played an amazing game tonight, and I think he has more amazing games to come.
However....
One nice regular season win over what can only be described as a disoriented Mavericks team does not outweigh everything we have learned from 50 years of history.

Point Guard = Complimentary player to the big man
Name for me all of the championship teams of the past 25 years where the point guard was the best player. I think an argument can be made for Detroit (Isaiah Thomas)..... and that's about it. I imagine even that point could be debated.
The Spurs are better for having Tony Parker, but Tim Duncan is the reason they play for championships every year.
