On a back to back game w/o manu and tim => parker 0 min
For at least tonight's Blazers game (and perhaps several games for the next couple weeks), the Spurs three inactive players will be Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Ian Mahinmi. So, it's all hands on deck, and here are the twelve players you have at your disposal:
Parker/Hill/Vaughn
Mason/Hairston
Finley/Bowen/Udoka
Bonner/Mensah-Bonsu
Thomas/Oberto
If you were coach Pop, how would the minutes be distributed?

I'd like to see Hairston get some decent minutes tonight, be nice if Pops gets some decent minutes too.
Mason couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last night...
oh yeah, parker's probably tired from last night, so maybe hill & mason should take a bunch of his minutes...
Here's what I would do:
PG: Parker (36 minutes), Hill (12 minutes)
SG: Mason (32 minutes), Hill (9 minutes), Hairston (7 minutes)
SF: Finley (28 minutes), Bowen (20 minutes)
PF: Bonner (30 minutes), Mensah-Bonsu (14 minutes), Thomas (4 minutes)
C: Thomas (26 minutes), Oberto (22 minutes)
Depending on how guys are playing, more or less minutes might be in store for Hairston, Mensah-Bonsu, and Udoka/Vaughn (not otherwise listed above). It's also possible we'll need Parker on the floor for 40 minutes, but I'd really like to see Hill on the floor more.
how about give parker a little break, and let mason play 2 or 3 minutes at point... that would give Parker 33 or 34 minutes based on your distribution of minutes...
I would go for that but I assume that Pop will give Hairston's minutes to Mason and Finley and give Pops minutes to small ball and Bonner.
parker - 30 hill - 15 vaughan - 3
mason - 30 hairston - 10 hill - 8
finley - 20 bowen 25 (need him for roy) udoka - 3
bonner - 30 mensah bonsu - 10 thomas - 8
thomas - 20 oberto - 28
i believe in these guys!
Probably, although Pops should get at least 5 minutes of floor time.....right?Also, I highly doubt Pop will give George Hill as many minutes at SG as I would like, but one can always hope.
we're gonna need a lot of Bowen tonight against Roy, and Friday vs. Lebron, so I'm expecting him to get more minutes than 20..
