As a huge sports card collector in the 90s I often wondered why my Tim Duncan card never went up in value. Could it be the folks at Beckett knew something I didn't? The same with the Grant Hills.

I told you all many times Tim was just one good hit to the knee away from early retirement and you all told me to go to . I was not wishing bad Karma I was just keeping it real. It's time the spurs make a huge trade before you end up with another Chris Webber/Grant Hill type player next season.

Well now I know why the Tim Duncan rookie card has never gone up in Value

At one time it was at 75.00 dollars. The problem with that card they made two many of them. You would get 4 rookies per pack. If you bought a box of cards you may get 16 David robin son rookies.

The folks at Beckett do their homework. If a card goes down or won't go up they know that player is history.

Maybe if you guys act now you may be able to trade Tim for Keith Van Horn!

Early retirement? Quit sniffing white out. Timmy's been in the league since 97. His knee is just fatigued, not ligimate damage. Geez buddy, post something next time with some knowledge!!!

Are Grant Hill/Chris Webber the type of players that have won 4 championships?

I know this must be a very bitter pill for the folks in San Antonio to swallow but there comes a time when you have take your medicine.

Why you feel the need to bring race into this?

You really think Peter Holt is going to let the news that Tim's career is finished hit the public? Think Mcfly think!

Geez buddy, post something next time with some knowledge!!!
Hey don't shoot the messenger! You should be honored I was nice enough to post this info here first before I release it to the media.

damn, cards have come a long way. my friend still collects and holy the new cards are awesome with jersey's tucked into the card, signatures, etc... that is insane!

i thought i was tough with my 2 boxes of skybox back in like 4th/5th grade. cheese!

anyhow, a tim duncan rookie card? hmm... i'd say it wouldn't break your bank just like the drob rc wouldn't, but i would also say the tdunk rc has got to be the higher priced card. last i checked my drob rc was like 2 bones. in' $2! what the ?

i used to collect. now i just keep faith that i never get any type of brain loss disease or anything.

ps: mouse just being mouse. nothing to see here. go on!

You continue to answer the age-old question--"Are you a man, or a mouse?"

Clearly, a mouse is not a man.

I agree. Anyone with a Duncan rookie card can trade it to me. I have a Tim Thomas, a Tony Battie, and a Tariq Abdul Wahad, even an Antonio Daniels and an Adonal Foyle I'd be willing to part with if you threw in some cash.

really? your gonna post a thread with the hopes of discounting duncan's success because of the price of a rookie card?
Talk about r---e---a----c---h----i-----n----g. MAVS fans are the scourge of NBA fandom. LACK-SHOW fans at least have history of winning to talk trash.
