PORTLAND, Oregon -- Spurs forward Tim Duncan will be back in his starting spot in the pivot when the Spurs tip off against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.
Duncan missed the previous three games with tendonosis in his right quadriceps tendon.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Duncan, who was cleared by the team's medical staff on Friday, won't be on a game-to-game basis with the injury.
The Spurs won two of three games without their two-time Most Valuable Player, beating Dallas the Portland, then losing on Friday to Cleveland.
Thanks Spurs Brazil.
FREAKING YEAH!! As I said before...Tim plays, double digit win. Nice...now we need to get Manu healthy again.
Edit:
My 500th post..woohoo. And a great way to get it. Good news...Thanks for the good news Spurs Brazil
Great news
Yeah...he was going to play or the team would have revolted against Pop! LOL!!
with duncan in the lineup, popovich can afford to play pops a little more. he'll be able to balance out pops' inevitable defensive slips.
