Come to la
He was.
Link: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...yhoo&type=lgnsDrew Gooden agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs are the favorite to sign him for the rest of the regular season and playoffs, two league executives said on Sunday night.
Rockets, pick him up! He'll probably go to the Cavs though.
why would anybody want him
i hope he rots in free agent
C'mon spurs!
But why did the Kings waive him? Aren't they bad enough?
He doesn't deserve that. Drew is a Gooden guy!
Get it?![]()
I doubt he's coming to Cleveland. There's some bad blood between him and LeBron from the tiff with DeShawn Stevenson. Apparently Drew told DeShawn about some uncomplimentary things LeBron had said about him, and that's what started the whole affair.
Better to have those minutes go to their young players. If they had no intention of resigning him, just save a bit of money on the buyout and move on.
Id rather see LA go for smith than gooden, because the issue is are defense.
Gooden can ball. Why in the world would Sactown get rid of him?? He's perfect for the Spurs. Rockets got too many PF's already.
suuuuuuuns please?!
The Suns could certainly give him the most minutes.
Good offensive player, but ridiculously inconsistent and constantly falls asleep on the defensive end. Can't rotate to save his life. I think Pop would strangle him at some point because of the defensive lapses.
Ya, cause when Amare comes back not only will the starting PF be lazy on D but the backup PF will be even lazier. BRILLIANT!!!!
i want him but im sure he would prefer san antonio where he could start instead of the trash known as udoka, bonner or oberto
He's pretty damn good, or would be if he played defense.
How in the * does a player like Drew Gooden get waived?!?!
He rebounds like a maniac, hits the 12 footer consistently and is a nice, articulate guy? WTF? I hope this is true even though it's probably not.
he sucks- doesn't play defense, and only shows up on offense once a week
