Yes.
do the spurs retire bruce's number 12 and hang it in the rafters?
one of the best defenders to play the game. he has put kobe and lebron on lock in the playoffs/finals.
If Avery made it, then Bowen is a lock.
Too many great memories for him not to be.

And then the 2 greatest that I can't even find on youtube. His block on Billups in the 05 finals and my personal favorite when he sank that 3 on phoenix and then stared down their bench as he ran up the court.
That second clip was awesome for two reasons, the block of course, and Dampier taking out Dirk trying to foul Finley.
Forgot the block on Dirk in the playoffs too.
I remember Bowen getting after it on Lebron as well.
Clearly. He dominated at what he did best, and he was arguably the best at it in the entire league for many years.
The defense was the heart and soul of the Spurs during the championship years, and Bruce was the heart and soul of the Spurs defense.
No offense meant, Tim and David.
when this era of spurs retire they will run out of room on top of numbers retired
Really? It doesn't seem like a no brainer to me.
Tim, Tony, Manu and Bowens numbers will all hang from the rafters.
You better believe they would, well unless he raped a girl in Colorado or something.
Avery gets his number hung for making the last basket in the game that clinched the Finals 4-1.
That is like Oberto getting in because he had an And-1 in the closing minutes of the sweep of the Cavs.
Bruce is a guara-damn-teed lock for the rafters if AJ is the litmus test...
absolutely, the spurs set a precedent when they let AJ in the rafters. They have to retire manu, tony, tim, and bruce's jerseys. We're gonna have a lot by the time this epoch of spurs basketball comes to an end. It's a good thing.
The Core of Four for three championships.
gooden deserves it more
No one else will wear # 12 after Bruce
ditto...
I think he might make it to the rafters, but I don't think it's a no-brainer.
Bowen deserves it, dammit!
We love our dirty defender.
I can imagine in 20 years when the AT&T or whatever new area the Spurs play in has 15 retired Jerseys hanging from the rafters.
And why no love for Robert Horry? :/
Horry will be remembered more of his Laker years than Spurs years, although game 5 of the 2005 NBA finals is my #1 Spurs moment.
