I see it everywhere. A Cp3 v Deron debate. the Hornets came onto the scene last year with a surprise 56-26 season and a 1st round playoff series victory against the beloved Mavs. Of course that victory didn't mean much, the Mavs were in disarray with J-Ho shooting 27% for the series, hosting a party, admitting to smoking weed, etc. Really only 2 Mavs played well, and Peja actually showed up for a playoff series.

Then in the 2nd round, they jump out to a 2-0 lead on the defending champs! But of course they blew it, and the series was tied 3-3. So Game 7, in NOLA, what does CP3 do in the 4th quarter of the crucial game 7?

The Jazz season ended with Deron taking the last shot, and scoring down the stretch to try and win the game.

The Hornets season ended with CP3 going scoreless the final 6:52 and deferring to Jannero mutha in Pargo, who plays in Europe right now.

Also 2 turnovers and a blown layup, along with 3 missed free throws out of five.

That's all you need to know. The rest such as Deron's head to head dominance, superior strength, versatility, and post up game, are just icing on the cake.

Not crying, just stating facts. At least the Jazz went down with Deron shooting the last shot. The Hornets went down with Jannero ing Pargo, not Chris Paul.

DUDE, you are obsessed with CP3 and his team, the LAKERS beat utah in 6 LOL. The Hornets eliminated the SORRY ASS MAVS in 5 and took the Spurs to a 7 game.

    GET ON WITH IT

Even though CP3 gets on my nerves, he is the best PG in the game.

    Look, I don't like CP3 either, but c'mon

Pargo was shooting well, so he passed him the ball

That's called identifying the hot hand

I dunno how you can say the NOH jump on the scene last year, when the previous years they were heading for a strong season if not for injuries....NOH imo peaks too early in the season and faints in March for some odd reason when other teams are starting to stride of become injury free heading towards the playoffs, while NOH stacks on with the injuries late.

I dont think t heres that much of a gap between them 2....its just that deron william fans dont like to give credit where its due vice versa....

Uhhh, Pargo is in Europe by choice, not because he couldn't get a gig in America. He was offered good money to stay in the NBA. But Europe offered better money. It's kind of a recurring theme these days (if you haven't noticed). So stop ing.

    Your evidence is faulty.

First of all, Pargo took the last shot in a game with a 9 point difference. Unless that lay-up was going to be worth 9 points, it doesn't matter who takes that last shot in a game that was decided at that point.

Second of all, Paul was being guarded by Bruce Bowen most of that fourth quarter. Deron Williams was being guarded by Derek Fisher for most of that fourth quarter. Fisher is still a decent defender, but this is not the first time Bowen has played great denial defense on a player.

Third, Pargo was shooting ing lights out. A selfish egotistical player would have taken all of Pargo's shots in that fourth quarter. He scored 16 points in that quarter. It would be something different if Pargo missed all of his shots. He didn't. A good point guard keeps milking the hot hand.

Fourth, Okur and Kirilenko made the big three pointers in that Jazz-Lakers game that even allowed the Jazz to have a chance to tie that game back up, not Deron. 1:02 left in the game, down 9, Okur makes a three pointer, Kirilenko makes two three pointers, Okur takes and misses another three pointer, with 4 seconds left mind you. That was the real last shot if you paid attention to the play-by-play. Deron Williams' last shot was off of an offensive rebound scattered play.

I don't agree with this argument as a rational for why Deron's better, but it was a fluke the Hornets went 7 games against a banged up Spurs team. The Mavs are an abscess of a playoff team. Utah was/is a better team than NO.

The Hornets season ended with CP3 going scoreless the final 6:52 and deferring to Jannero mutha in Pargo, who plays in Europe right now
in that same game Manu and duncan went scoreless the final 10:00, so i say there shouldn't be a kg/duncan debate or a manu/... debate

I know it may surprise you that other fans also think that Deron is a better prospect for a team. But hey Deron has more poise than CP3.

I love Deron's at ude and i don't think i've ever seen a player torch Parker like he did in 2007.

He's the only member of the Jazz worth respecting. The rest of the team is either lying bags, flopping pussies, or hacking thugs who get away with it because they're white and love Jesus.
