SAN ANTONIO — The Lakers will have their hands full with Tim Duncan tonight, but here’s a quick update on the Lakers’ guy whose trainer referred to him not long before his latest injury as potentially “Duncan … on steroids.”
Andrew Bynum, who was so key in the Lakers drubbing the Spurs in their last meeting at Staples Center on Jan. 25, has made the first substantial step in returning from the torn medial collateral ligament in his knee: He began running on the treadmill back home in Los Angeles on Tuesday. And he has had no ill effects from the exertion so far.
The Lakers expect Bynum to return in April, preferably early in the month to allow him more regular-season games to get acclimatized anew to game speed for the playoffs.
Get ready es!

i wonder how many games he'll play before he goes back out again. Hopefully he stays healthy, best of luck to him
I hope he reinjures his knee when he comes back
if someone creates a thread wishing he hurts his knee, and he actually does again, can we official claim this board a voodoo board? I mean if that happens, even Lakers fans would have to find it funny
Coincidence? I think not.
Ooooooo...the Spurs are scared!!!

Then your board will belong to me! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Here's a phone.
Call someone who cares.
Bynum yeah, not more points for Tony Parker inside the Paint
Why isn't the "I hope Bynum re-injures his knee" thread in the Classics?
Bynum's gonna hip check Kobe like he did G Wallace.
Good news. Hopefully Bynum can get back onto the court before the playoffs start.
The Lakers will need his presence to help shore up that interior defense.
The funny thing is that thread said I hope he re-injures his knee.....and he didn't.....it was the other knee.
Let's not wish injury on any player. This is their livelihoods at stake, it's not as if they have any alternate career paths.
finally something we can agree about![]()
That would explain all the injuries and his emo mood swingson steroids![]()
I find the Tim Duncan on steroids thing hilarious because Tim Duncan never had to benched at the end of games for not playing hard D....nor did he need his own personal assistant coach to teach him how to shoot a hook shot.
Bynum is the difference between the Lakers having a chance at a ring as opposed to steamrolling their way to a championship.
Yeah..maybe with the lineup on your sig..otherwise, the Lakers are just one more really good team this year.
