There have been questions whether or not Bonner's offense would be able to cancel out his defensive limitations versus a very long Laker front line, but the proof is now in the pudding. Thank God we picked up Gooden or we would be screwed.
Look for large doses of Gooden/Thomas/Oberto when we see the Lakers in a playoff series.

That's funny...as I scroll I only see one other one. Merge if you feel so inclined.
The other thread is actually talking about Bonner in the playoffs as a whole. This one was made with the intention of focusing solely on the Lakers match up.
But whatever.
Notice the unmerged status of the thread.
Alot of people may be jumping on him, but against LA, he can't stand with that talented versatile frontline. If he isn't hitting, he's a massive liability. You can't be a starting C/PF (w/e), and not get any rebounds in twelve minutes. I'm sorry, if you are a big, if you do nothing else, you at the very least must rebound. Tonight he was non existent.
I don't care if you shoot the trey lights out, you have to rebound. I think he should've logged some secondary minutes. He may be a decent match up with Powell or Mbenga.
