Spurs lost to the Lakers. Ex-Bulls fans, also known as current Laker fans, are excited.
Seems like there has been a e in all the trolling and name calling on this board lately. What's going on? Can we just get back to discussing the Spurs?

+1, timvp.
Definitely..it's like we're on a spam board or something...I know I don't have as many posts as some of the main people on this board, but shouldn't we have some sort of trial period or something? Is that possible?
They come and go in phases. It will pass, and then the next wave will hit. Ignore is a wonderful feature if they bother you.
I'll repeat what i've stated many times...I've still never met a real Lakers fan. The only thing worse is all the new Celtics "fans".
Whatever happened to that 'minimum 100 post requirement to start a topic' rule people wanted to implement? I think it'd be a marginally improved way to stop random trollers from registering multiple accounts and posting smack talk, not to mention stopping new people from posting too much, like that recent 15 year old.
Good advice. I will do that. Thank you.
A new thread post minimum is not going to happen. A few of the biggest scoops in the history of SpursTalk were made by posters who usually lurk.
Plus, it's not like having a lot of posts automatically makes someone a good poster. There are horrible posters with hundreds of posts.
People who abuse the new thread button get dealt with individually ... like that 15-year-old you mentioned. And Sequ.
It was never under consideration.
Then you'd just have people posting random things till they get to 100
Everything should be controlled in moderation. Trolling too much is not good for health.
I'm thrilled I joined. I have enjoyed all the knowledge. The trolling is the worst part. Right when you think you can sit back, relax, pop open a beer and enjoy some Spurstalk, you run into the morons.
The biggest lesson to learn is to not post in the trolls threads.
If you don't post in them, they fall off the front page in a very short period of time. If people post in them over and over and over, they stay at the top. It's pretty simple.
stupid spurms fans...you should realize that the more people that hate the spurms the more relevant they are...grow a sack spurms fans...![]()

We love you...couldn't have a troll thread without Spork...
And, you can always go enjoy the mini-forum. No trolls there!
Win a championship Suns fan, just 1, much less 4.
