    o Guys!

I just want to let you know that i am a little bit worry about Tony carrying the team since quite one month now.. Since we are all waiting for Many and TD to come back healthy for the playoffs, Tony is doing a lot of works right now.

I know, all of you will tell me that this guy is young and blah blah blah... But the way Tony is playing is quite stressing for all his body (always in contact with other players, hitting the floor often..etc..)

Maybe we should use more GH.... and let tony just have less minutes to rest a bit..

Remember, if one of the big three is missing, we are not going to win this year........

Parker isn't playing more minutes per game since Manu's injury. So even if he is taking more shots per game, I don't think it is a real problem.
And if Spurs continue like that, they will secure the #2 seed in the west before the last week of the regular season. Tony should get some rest before the playoffs.

BTW, welcome on this board and Marseille.

Anyway, he is doing alot more, he carries the team, he makes all the action. Its too bad, cause he need to rest before the playoffs. but i think tony does not mind, cause he's able to show alot more action, more points, even 3pts

Even though many people will deny it including Tony himself...

This team is no longer Duncans team anymore....its Parkers.

It's much harder for a guard to carry a team because they are often forced into taking much more difficult shots and usually have to work harder to get them. Especially during the playoffs, where the game slows down and defenses are specifically geared to take away the oppositions strengths.

All that said, I have two concerns. First, I am worried that by carrying the load now, perhaps Tony will be gassed by the time the playoffs roll around. Second, good coaches, like Phil Jackson, have demonstrated they know how to shut Tony down over the course of a 7-game series.

Unless Manu and Tim are healthy enough that they can share their end of the load, none of it will matter.

    Paris est MAGIQUE !!!!!!!!
They only won because we are running out of gaz and nobody on the bench...
And by the way, the ref would NEVER have put a red card in Marseille (too afraid, ie: Barthez against Kalou...)
This was the turning point (10 against 11 with no energy...)

Red card or not, I think you would have loose anyway. Without sessegnon, this team is average... at best

About TP, having a bigger role in the team have helped him to improve his decision making as well as his leadership...
We all don't see him now the way we did, even 3 months ago (ie: back to back dallas/portland, overall since the allstar break)
He can now be great on a consistant basis, he used to have up and down, specialy after great perf...

IMHO I believe today TP depends on himself, no system can shut down TP during 30 mn if he is in good shape, if his JS is here and if he wants to.

    Back to the subject.

Did you notice that Parker statistics are insane when he plays without Ginobili?

In 18 games (not counting his 10 minutes pre-injury against Miami):
25.7 pts (50%) / 7.5 assits. Rather impressive... but even more if you considers he played only 35 minutes.
    Just for the comparison:
On Chris Paul minutes (37.8), this would be 27.8 pts /8.2 ast

    Impressive indeed !

But what are the team records with and without Manu?

As a spur fan, it remains the most relevant indicator

You 're right about Sessegnon (the guy is REALY amazing...)
But I think our real problem is that our player really NEED a rest, not only physicaly, but mentaly them seem exhausted...
We can't have any turnover compare to marseille, lyon, bordeauxor even Lille...
We are too "shorthanded" (I think its the word..) and I"m realy concerned about the last 10 games (+ if we go further in UEFA cup!)
