ING POP on this one. His freaking rotation, play calling have always bug the out of me. Even when we've won. We kept getting killed on the glass at the end and Nazr was cleaning up the glass, but nowhere to be seen.
He was probably afraid Tony was going to run out of steam again, and sits him IMO to long and got cold. He never was aggressive enough again.
Never tried going small ball, to see if it could bring any results.
Kept putting freaking Horry in there, when he was doing nothing but crap. Countless other crap.
Oh well, Tony is learning from this experince and he is just awesome when his aggressive. No better PG in the league when he has that mentality.
We'll be better for this towards the end. We're going to win this yr, baring any injury. This team has hung in there with out two of their three best players.
I agree, Pops play calling (down the stretch) for the back up bigs resulted in turnover or last minute shots, but it also showed that Pop cannot trust Horry or Barry to be clutch when the game is on the line. Maybe that is Pop was trying to find out tonight.
