    I use winamp mostly, but it is pissing me off. I hate the constant popups to "upgrade", and every time I exit it (by clicking the X), 2 seconds later windows pops up an error message that Winamp is not reponding, and do I want to send microsoft an error report?

    never heard of Media Monkey, but I just checked out their home page. It looks good, thanks!

    i used to use db power amp. i never had any luck with the playlist thingy. switched to foobar. that was ok, but now i just vlc. not really a player, but it plays pretty much everything. that means i don't have to convert anything.

    Used winamp for like 9 years, didn't bother re-installing it after last format, since I use Itunes for my Iphone. That, or I just use WMP.
