The injuries are irritating, but nothing of major concern. There are no ruptured ligaments and broken bones. The good thing is that key players are getting plenty of rest so the fatigue card would not be so easily bought come playoff time. I think they'll be fine.

Spurs vs. Mavs would be a nice match up, as the Mavs are an improved team on D over last year, but without Nash their no way they are an overall improved team.
Moreover, the stark reality is that the Spurs have improved more.
Come playoff time, Spurs D will turn it up,Nazr will contribute and Mavs will do their usual Choke.

The spurs are no where near playoff material, Tim Duncan is one more injury away from ruining his career, I think the Spurs need to just rest him and maybe wait till next season. Besides now that the Mavericks have Horn? I don't see how they can lose.

As long as Duncan is a Spur, the Spurs OWN the Mavs.
He averages like 27 ppg against the Mavs and had a HUGE series against them in the 02-03 playoffs.

Truth be told, I'm a little worried though... not so much about the Mavs as the fact that this is usually OUR TIME! March and April is when we get it together and start handing people their heads, and this year it's the opposite (sure, partly due to injuries, but nonetheless).
The starters are all fatigued or injured, the bench has lost their way, and at the worst time of the year. Maybe this is one time we should start considering the fact that we're vulnerable. Grizz in the 1st round will be tough (I think the Suns get 1st in the West now), then Seattle or Houston in the 2nd and Suns in the 3rd... the West is a slaughterhouse this year, and I'm surprised everyone's picking us to win it all! Sure, 2 months ago they were right, but now? We are battered and vulnerable.
