Dynasties are dominant by definition. The Spurs were never truly dominant because they didn't repeat, furthermore their championships were flukes, in particular 2003 where they benefited from Finley's injury costing the Mavs home court and Dirk missing the final 3 games of the playoffs. In 2005 they caught a break w/ Horry's fluke shot and in 2007 they needed technicalities to beat the Suns and the Warriors to hit bull fluke shots so they could avoid the Mavs.

So we're not really witnessing the end of a dynasty here.

I do think the Spurs are in danger mode. I know Manu is out, but they don't seem as dangerous as in years past. Even last year's team wasn't as powerful as years before. Maybe I'm wrong and they will come into New Orleans Sunday night and win, but I don't think they can beat the Big 3 in a 7 game series.
