Tony, he is the best currently, so on fire, and tony is doing it more often, that's impressive!!
Tony last night or Manu's 24 consecutive points (40 total) a couple of years ago?
For those who don't remember Manu's night: http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/M...html38870.html

Almost forgot about that game, but I had never seen Manu play like that probably since the Phoenix game. it was almost Jordanesque the way he completely took over that quarter.
Based on compe ion level, I've gotta give props to Tony considering the Hawks weren't a playoff team back then, and Manu had the better supporting cast that night.
I have to give it to Tony. He's been amazing and nobody has been able to stop him and he's been able to do it consistently. Manu's wasn't too shabby either even if it was against the Hawks which at that time wasn't very good. It's really hard to see Manu starting to go downhill now (not that he isn't still good) and not have those amazingly crazy games that he was able to just take over. I still think he can have one of those games once in a while but not like he used to
I gotta say Manu. As great as Tony was, scoring 42 over a game occurs more often than 24 straight. I had recorded that Manu game and rewatched it a couple times and he was really awesome, score in all sorts of ways.
I would say tony because he scored 42 at 70% 10 assists and only 2 TOs
manu scored 24 straight points in less than 5 minutes. the previous record in NBA history was jordan with 23 straight. whenever you are taking a record from jordan, you are doing something special.
I know lebron got 25 straight against the pistons in the playoffs a while after(definitely more impressive), but as far as being special, getting 24 straight is more special than scoring 40+, even considering the high percentage. and i know that hawks team wasnt great, but guys like iverson and kobe played against those same hawks and didnt come up with 24 straight, let alone in under 5 min.
some dilemma, 40 with 24 straight or 42 with 70% FG, poor spurs fans!
i take gino who exposed that JJ guy
Ginobili, but Parker's is awesome also.
I love Manu, but anyone who thinks Ginobili's quarter was more impressive than Tony's whole game is crazy. No Tim, hardly any Manu, against a solid Hawks team, he was simply unstoppable. Manu's 24 was amazing, don't get me wrong, but c'mon, Tony on everyone and he did it when the team needed it, and he dished out 10 assists.
tony why
manu was just being greedy and selfish
had tp gone for those straight points that is what this board would be saying
