Red Eye rules.
it seemed that greg gutfeild was criticizing the Defense minister's plan rather than the troops and he was having fun with his name Leslie. Now, he did apologize becuase it was in bad taste since days later 4 troops were brought back dead from service, but he reiterated that he didn't mean to attack canadian troops.
His show is laidback and he doesn't take himself seriously nor does he think he's doing the Lords work or speaking truth to power. The same humor used against the Leslie guy (defenese minister) is the same he uses to self deprecate himself, as he's always joking about his 18 yr old ethnic poolboy and their romances.
Nothing to see here.
agree, red eye is pretty good.
Red Eye is aggressively unentertaining, unlike many conservative shows.
It's like they just show up and goof off.
I always would shake my head at those who would say in essence "I support the troops, but i don't support the mission."
I wonder if those saying it realize how much they are disrespecting those troops who choose to serve for that mission!
I've never seen that show, but I laughed a few times at the video. Making fun of Canada is a time-honored, American tradition.
"I support the troops, but i don't support the mission."
A perfectly logical, defensible position. The troops are just employees and are vulnerable to like any employee to ups by the mgmt.
I never, and still don't, understood the hate shown VN vets by people who were against the VN war, esp when so many vets were drafted against their will.
Trashing dubya's phony Iraq fiasco-for-oil is totally separate from the troops who are forced to execute that fiasco.
Fox's blonde bimbos are jokes, worthless outside of their role as -hardeners for the bubbas who watch that rabble-"rousing" .
