Those look about right.
NBA Power rankings: March 29, 2009
Mike Monroe
TOP 10
(Last rank in parentheses)
1. Cavaliers (1): Posing for “photos” before every game, they make a pretty picture.
2. Lakers (2): ZenPhil clarifies his status: He won’t commit to another season until this summer.
3. Magic (4): This is scary: Howard has had two recent games in which he had seven assists.
4. SPURS (7): How much better are the Spurs with Manu playing like Manu? Better than any Western team but the Lakers.
5. Celtics (3): Garnett’s creaky knee is becoming a big concern. He’ll get lots more rest until the playoffs.
6. Nuggets (5): If Billups’ sore shoulder costs him a few games, they can kiss the division le goodbye.
7. Rockets (6): No need to wonder which team they want to avoid in the first round: Jazz have their number.
8. Trail Blazers (11): Oden is back on the floor with motivation to prove he wants to be a contributor to the playoff push.
9. Jazz (9): Free agency hint? Boozer’s divorce filing asks for the Salt Lake City home, not the house in Miami.
10. Hornets (8): Without Chandler for the rest of the regular season they’re a lock to open the playoffs on the road.

Would've been interesting to see how far the Magic could have pushed the Eastern Conference contenders had Jameer stayed healthy.....I NEVER thought I'd be saying that but he seriously deserved the All Star nod. It'll come down to the Celts and Cavs in the east.
