I had no idea there was an active Spurs forum.
I started posting on the ESPN.COM San Antonio Spurs forum but there are simply too many "trolls" that post.

Welcome, twincam. This is an extremely active forum with lots of information, smak, laughs, etc. There is also a core of people who know what they are talking about. Your task is to learn who does and who doesn't know. It shouldn't take long.

Injuries really hurt a team and their success, but only time will tell on what happens.
Have you guys/gals ever had that "FEELING" that it was their time to win it all? Speaking of 1999 and 2003. They were winning games that were virtually impossible to win. It was simply meant to be. From Elliott's Memorial Day miracle to Steve Kerr's heroic 3-pt. show agains Dallas. It was just a gut feeling that it was their time to take it all the way.
This season has that same quality. It's all about finding ways to win. I narrow it down to POISE. I trully believe that is their attribute to success.
Alvin was a big-time talent...Mr. Quad-double, but unfortunately he ended up in the "orange jumpsuit" a bit too much.
You know something, my history is a bit gray. What trouble did he have with the law? I simply can't remember it.

Welcome twincam. Good to have you aboard. This years Spurs definitely have the talent to go all the way but they are a bit of an enigma to me. They're quite a bit different than the Spurs teams of the past few years. They had a superb start compared to their usual slow start and now they're kind of idling in March when they usually kick it up a notch.
No worries yet though. The talent is definitely there, we'll see if the desire and execution is come June. Biggest threats are Houston and Detroit imo. Suns, Sonics and Heat are tough but won't have what it takes in the postseason.
