Alonzo Mourning. Just saw his jersey retirement ceremony on SportsCenter. Too bad about the kidney ailment..dude would have been even better. 7 Time All Star, 2nd on All time Heat's all time scoring list, 11th all time in blocks with 2,356, 2-time defensive player of the year. Zo was crying at the ceremony. Miami obviously means a lot to him. So thumbs up to Zo .

My favorite memory of him is when he yelled at a ballboy to "clean up the in' floor", during the '96 or '97 playoffs when the Bulls were kicking their asses.

I'll never forget when Alonzo had his kidney problem but made it back to the league and was running wind sprints one day after practice, and Kenyon Martin (who was a teammate at the time) was making fun of him for having the kidney problem...If I was Zo I would have beaten his ass.

I'll never forget the time Alonzo said in an interview that David Robinson shies away from contact and is therefore soft. I believe this was one of the seasons that David led the league in free throw attempts.

'zo's a little . Kenyon Martin would have ed him up.

F Zo. After Robinson dropped 50 on his azz, a year or so later he said that Robinson avoided contact and would back down if the game got physical. Coming from Zo, a player Robinson routinely curbstomped, that was extremely lame. That'd be like Steve Nash saying Tim Duncan doesn't have enough will to win.

In that interview about whether or not Robinson was soft, they featured Zo, Jayson Williams and Brian Williams (AKA Bison Dele). Considering what happened to the other two, Zo got off easy.

Zo was a bag. In addition to everything already said in this thread, there was also the time he pulled a Carlos Boozer on the Mavericks.

The best would be after a slam dunk on a point guard and then stop to flex at the crowd, and the other team would score an easy lay-up in transition.

The guy was a major bag.
