The Cavs have the best record in the NBA, the Lakers have the best record in the West.
Either one not showing up would be a personal failure by Kobe or LeBron.
The Lakers are probably going, but the Cavs won't be there. No team that relies on like Sasha Pavlovic & Andersen Varejao to give them quality minutes will ever be a great team. It's nice that they made it to the Finals by beating a Detroit team that basically asked to be beaten, but let's not kid ourselves, they still weren't a Finals quality team that year.
It'll be Boston-LA again.

What exactly is so ty about them? They both play good defense. Pavlovic is a really good 3pt shooter and plays with heart and energy.
Varejao is another good energy guy, hustles well on the boards, and does a lot of the dirty work that most players won't do.
I don't see how having a players like that, who don't even play a substantial amount of minutes, are going to bring them down. It's players like that which makes the Cavs so tough to beat.

The NBA needs a Kobe vs. Lebron Finals. They need a new rivalry. Lakers Celtics was big back before most of us were born. They need a rivalry for this generation. The NBA can't afford to have the Spurs or Magic in the Finals. They need Kobe vs. Lebron.

I actually think you have a very good chance of being right on this. I give the Cavs about a 35% chance of making the Finals.
Sasha has been nailed to the bench the last two weeks. No one is relying on him. He'll play spot-minutes in the playoffs against bigger wing players and that's it.
Cavaliers are going to the Finals, where they will play LA. It's going to happen.
Again, it's amazing how much this team is underestimated here.

Lol that was my point. He was only playing increased minutes because of West and his injury. Other than that, from what I've been seeing lately, he just plays spot minutes, and if he gets hot, he stays in. Even then, hes still not as bad as Mono is saying. He is capable of giving quality minutes, and at least gives effort when he is out there.
