I'm sick of this 7ft 6 player who doesnt even average 10 rebounds again, let alone 2 blocks or 20 points. And gets blocked so much, what the mate, your 7ft 6, is there something wrong with you. Look at dwight whos 6ft 11 and posterizes everyone, yao never does, hes just a little pussy
Think about it like this, if Yao were 6'11 would he be in the league at all? Nope.

Height is just a number. Shawn Bradley and George Muresan were in the same range and they ing sucked. Yao is the 2nd best center in the league. He doesn't have the athleticism foot work or strength to be as dominant as a guy like Howard but he is what he is, a very good player.
Furthermore talk about nitpicking. If you round up he basically IS a 20 PT, 10 rebound, 2 block player.

Most people that tall have physical problems, whether foot, back, knees, or what not and can't even play sports more than for just recreation. Yao is not only playing basketball professionally, he actually has skill and has worked on that skill. He lacks a lot athletically and agility wise. But to think he's a joke is pretty ridiculous.
Disagree... there were many freaks in the league who were big but never even made a great impact. Yao, despite his lack of lateral movement is a very productive big. He came into the league and was lacking bball skills all over but he worked on it, improved his game, shot selection and even his athletics a bit. Health is his biggest concern right now because it's hard to stay healthy when you play professional sports with such a body. He's doing fine right now and I hope he will in the future because he has shown that he is not only relying on his size and he has shown his will to work on his game too.
Its great to watch his get dominated by all the better PFs and Cs out there
And yet he still basically averages 20:10:2????
So there are better players out there, that doesn't mean he's a joke.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him a joke or anything like that. He's a solid player especially at his height. But that's about it. He's soft and always sucking wind. Yao is not strong enough physically to survive the playoff rounds. Just my opinion...
I have nothing against those international players, instead I like very much some of them like Dirk and Gasol, I dislike the fakers though. but I have to agree that yao is simply a moronic pussy.
He shoots more fadeways than Dirk, to go along with being the softest 'star' in the league. Yeah, he is a joke.

I root for him to get blocked by Nate Robinson. He's a good player, but I'm facing facts when I say he wouldn't be in the nba if he were 6'10 like duncan instead of 7'5-6ish
Yea I do too, buy hey you gotta take the good with the bad sometimes. Like having an NBA Forum on Spurstalk is great but you gotta deal with these bandwagon, ship jumping, Mavs fans which is not.
