Since 2003 (I won't even count 2001 and 2002...), we are 1-8 at Staples in the playoffs. Yeah, really simple...That's why we need homecourt vs. the Lakers.

If SA and LA do meet in the playoffs, SA can't lose a game at home. And they have to try and steal one in Staples. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna be the way they beat New Orleans, and Utah over Houston back in 2007.
I think the Lakers will have a cake walk to the Finals if SA doesn't get its act together. And, frankly there may not be enough time to put the jigsaw puzzle together period. I'm still hopeful, but the last games have got me seriously questioning what the Pop is doing in his rotations. I've never seen the Spurs this discombobulated in the last few games leading to the PO's. Oh well if anyone can do it, it's the Spurs.
Once Duncan takes those weights off his knees they have him wearing (which purposely limits his jumping ability) come playoff time, he'll be ready to fly...
