The Texans have agreed to a contract with free agent outside linebacker Cato June. He will sign a one-year contract worth $1.5 million, including a $500,000 signing bonus. The deal could be worth as much as $2 million.
The Texans also have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with free agent middle linebacker Buster Davis, who played at Indianapolis last season.
June, who came to Houston early this week to meet with the Texans, spent the last two seasons with Tampa Bay before being released in February.
June, 29, is 6-0, 227. He'll compete with Xavier Adibi for the starting job on the weak side. June had 63 tackles, including 49 unassisted, for the Buccaneers last season.
June, who grew up in Washington D.C. and played at Michigan, spent his first four seasons with Indianapolis before signing with Tampa Bay as a free agent. With the Colts, he started on their Super Bowl XLI-winning team. He also was voted to the Pro Bowl one time.

Hopefully this works out better than the Roosevelt Colvin signing last season.

He did have that one cool pick of Tom Brady in that regular season game that one year.

But yeah, Peyton is going to try to burn his ass a few times when we play the Texans. Same way him and Reggie tag teamed Jason David.

They still need a CB, and a ballhawking SS....Maybe Malcolm Jenkins and William Moore.... But I have a feeling that they might be going offense if someone like maclin, beanie wells, or moreno falls to them.
