I didn't know Jon Kitna and Joey Harrington played for Sparty.
Tar Heels are really good, but State made it way too easy for them.

Mush have been wild at the start sure was loud.
Great atmosphere and people were hyped. The sparty fans tried several times to get behind the team but the game was just never close enough to really get the noise genuinely hectic for the heels.
Yes, last night the game ultimately sucked, but it was still a great experience despite the losing. Here are a few pictures from yesterday.
My brother flew into town just for the game. They had this in the airport.

Pre-game, Spartans begin to run onto the court. I was in section 114, row 35. It was the wide side of the stands. Not especially great to follow every play of the game. But, it was ok. I could have used some beer to entertain me while the game was going on. Too bad the stadium was dry.
North Carolina wins and runs onto the court.
I took a picture after the game, even though I was still pretty bummed. Yes, genuinely even though I'm a Wolverine. See, I'm even wearing a green t-shirt.
They were playing "One Shining Moment" on the jumbotron and I got the picture when they showed the Durrell Summers dunk on Stanley Robinson. I didn't quite time it right as it was a split second early. Still a cool shot.
