not a good enough shooter, lives on his speed. He'll get curbstomped worse than JJ Barea at the defensive end. A more mature Sebastian Telfair.

The Suns need to scrap the point guard dominated offense. Trying to find "the next Steve Nash" is going to hurt them. Rather than focus on trying to find a PG who can carry his team through the regular season and then fall apart in the playoffs, they should focus more on building a team and surrounding Goran Dragic with great player.
The situation is really dragic
Dragic is the one player the Suns should hold onto. The other players the Suns should cut their losses and trade.
It's amazing what a good GM does. The 31-51 Thunder-Sonics hire Presti and the 61-21 Suns hire Kerr after the 2007 season. Next year the Thunder will be better than the Suns, AND they own the Suns first round pick next year. Talk about ownage.
Lawson shot over 53% and 47% from 3...how is he not a good shooter?
Throughout his career he's struggled. Many players develop over time, which is what it seems Lawson has done. Still, many more have a fluke season and return to lesser form. Tough to say how Lawson would handle the increased speed, size and athleticism of the NBA.
Plus, he's constantly injured. He's a fine player, but I wouldn't draft him to be a star. His speed is his main plus, but size, inconsistency in his shot and history of injury are three big negatives.

Hmm...interesting take. Suns get probably 14th pick, Lawson and Steph Curry would both be there. I would be interested to see if Phoenix somehow landed a top five pick what they would do...Brandon Jennings?
Those guys will all do nothing. Phoenix does not need a PG, I don't get what's so hard to understand about that.
Right now, The Suns have Matt Barnes and Grant Hill at the 3. I think it's safe to say Hill won't return to this mess, and Matt Bricks hopefully gets shot during a gang war. They need a 3 A LOT more than a PG.
