    This ever happen to you?

I was running a slow five miles this evening and almost exactly at mile 4 I had a wave of "oh my God, I'm going to poo myself" come over me. I've never contimplated dropping a duece in someone's backyard or the side of their house so much in my life. I bet the last mile I ran was at times the fastest pace I've ever ran at as well as the slowest I've ever ran at. When I got home I didn't even let my dogs out, I just went straight to the restroom and dropped a lung.

It's a half hour later and my heart still isn't beating correctly, I think I may have done permanent damage.

Anyone else have a similar story, runners or not?

When I was in bootcamp my regular cycle was screwed up by the food and what not and I wasn't able to unload for a week or so and sure enough, when we were on a run the urge to release hit me like a ton of bricks. What was I to do!?!? So I held on as long as I could and then I had no choice but to make a run for it when I saw the first quonset hut and let loose like there was no tomorrow. Needless to say I had to do bends and thrusts until I literally had a puddle of sweat beneath me.
    Sometimes you just gotta go.

How messed up would it be to find a big dump in your yard.

It's happened to me twice. Both times I had some serious diarrhea, I'm talking Jeff Daniels in Dumb & Dumber type diarrhea, and it was either in a backyard or in my pants. I felt bad but whatever. Most people around here let their dogs all over the neighborhood anyways.

An uncontrollable urge to crap hit me when I was hiking with my son one day. Without a bathroom in sight I hunted around as quickly as possible for something vaguely resembling toilet paper and went off the trail far enough to not disgust future hikers.

So I'm under a big fir tree, about 20 feet off the trail, feeling like I'm fairly well hidden from other folks, crapping like my intestines are trying to escape my body, but my son is standing out a little closer to the trail shouting "are you done pooping daddy? Are you done pooping yet? Daddy your poop is stinky!" I heard a couple of hikers pass by laughing at loud, as I would have done had I been the one coming down the trail.

That's the stuff father/son memories are made of.

This made me laugh so hard. Oh my God. And then I thought of my dog. My sister takes him for runs every once in a while on her bike and he will stop in the middle of the road and just take the biggest ever. Granted, this is a dog we're talking about...but nonetheless. It's funny and now every time I see a post from johnsmith I will think of my dog taking a in the middle of the road.

No, however while I run with my dog she always stops to take a big dump in front of these two little dogs (no leashes, open gate) who always yap and chase us when we run in front of their yard.

I lmao the first time I realized she knows what she is doing and must knowingly hold some in all day in anticipation for the daily run.
