zakk is definitley one of my favorites. his stuff with ozzy and black label is awsome. I would say my favorite is probably a toss up between SRV and derrick trucks.

I play guitar, and there are several other guitarists here as well.
I also play other instruments.
If all goes well, I'll ahve access to a piano soon and that'll be my next instrument to learn.

i love playing guitar...it would be cool to organize a cover band to make some extra money
I would never make it in a cover band. Well, I'd shoot myself if I was ever in one, but aside from that the range of my voice is lower than most pop songs, so I can't singe a large number of covers unless they are played in a different key.
Everytime I hear coverband it makes me think of that movie that had Marky Mark in it.
Ive practiced with my black takamine off and on for three years, i can pound out a couple chords but cant string anything together.
If I ever get the time Id love to take it seriously.
An Acoustic Guitar, a piano, and a nice acoustic base, played together, is beautifull.
ive been trying to get a cover band, or any kind of band at that matter. i made up a couple of originals and have just been fooling around with some stuff. the only problem is that i cant get that far with just a rythmn and a bass player. i know this may not be relevant to any one and most people may not give a but if anyone plays drums, keyboards , or sings that would be sweet. Rock on!
