Welp, up in Utah we're never gonna forget the dreaded 2000's. So I'm really looking forward to the 2010-2020 era as I anticipate the loss of Timmy putting us back on top for awhile. Then again, we might could both suck. Which I guess would be better than us getting curb stomped every time we play you.
As far as tonight goes, we're a really, really, really talented team that for whatever reason, just doesn't give a flying . So if we show up tonight, I think we win easily. Big damn if right there though and I'm not confident.
Utah hasn't won in San Antonio since '99 IIRC..pretty ridiculous..
since Duncan's health is game-to-game, I'm guessing the real Tim shows up tonight..
22 games...
They are 0-15 all-time at AT&T Center and last won in San Antonio on Feb. 28, 1999, a Midwest Division game at the Alamodome.http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122275The Jazz have dropped 19 consecutive regular-season games in San Antonio, plus three games in the 2007 Western Conference finals.
Same was true of Celts@SA in Duncan era, but Paul Pierce broke that losing record.
When exactly did this kicking in the face happen?
More on Duncan and his knees
By Jeff McDonald
Sometimes news travels slowly here at Spurs Central. Talked to a Spurs staffer before tonight's game against Utah.
He said Tim Duncan banged knees with another player during the win at Oklahoma City on Tuesday night, which is part of the reason Duncan played so gingerly the next night against Portland.
Duncan, apparently, is feeling pretty good, and might ditch the knee pads tonight. We shall see.
GO SPURS GO! Its important that we win tonight and Blazers lose to Lakers tonight.
Who can forget the elbow? I still remember how angry David Robinson's father was that none of his teammates stood up for him after that happened.
It would also be nice if the Warriors could upset the Rockets too.
Is Tim wearing the knee pads tonight?
Duncan shaved his head. He means business.
Let's get it!!
Damn!! Damn!! Damn!!
There is no doubt in my mind that Spurs are going to win!
