HCA is meaningless against any team except the Jazz. If the NBA is smart and wants the Spurs gone, they'll schedule Joey Crawford to work a lot of Spurs games in April and May.
Is it still possible that the spurs can get the 3 seed? I figure if they win out and if Houston can drop some that it's still possible. To me, this would be the best for them because they would most likely draw NO, Dallas (even though that kind of scares me) or if we're lucky and they can move up, get the Jazz. If not, we're ed because then we're either tied for 4 with Portland or the 5 seed playing them anyway and I don't like that match up. What are every one else's remaining games and where do you guys think we'll end up at the end of this coming week?

I kind of hope we get a 4, and everyone else stays where they are. That way we can not only root for a tough series against Portland, but a very possible Utah upset over the Lakers.
I just purchased Spurs Game A tickets, so whoever it is should be a great matchup. Hopefully we can get homecourt so the first game would be either the 18th or 19th.
HCA doesn't matter for the Spurs. We are horrible at home anyway (I know having been there for all of their home losses), having about the worst home record of any of the WC playoff teams. But, we have I think, the 2nd best road record of the WC playoff teams. And over the 10 year span we've won on the road in just about every series including the Finals. Our guys are playoff tested and experienced enough that it won't matter where we play except maybe if we get to play the Lakers.
couldn't agree more![]()
HCA means very little. Avoiding the Lakers at all cost is the reason they'd be gunning for a better seed

all the information you seek in one place in the thread I started.
Spurs can still get #3 seed, if it is a 3 way tie amongst Houston, Portland and San Antonio.
Portland holds 2 way tiebreaker between San Antonio and Portland
San Antonio currently barely holds the 2 way tiebreaker between San Antonio and Houston
