I think by "replica" it means something that would not be actually worn on the court.
There is some set definition seperating authentic and replica when it comes to jerseys, im just not sure what it is.

yeah replica is like the cheap look alike material that is real light weight and well, uh cheap. the letters come off a lot easier and they are made by champion, adidas, some by reebok and nike. correct me if i'm wrong but i think reebok makes the nba's jerseys right now. can't explain it real well, but you know if you compare an "on-court" jersey with a "replica" which is which.

Usually wearing one of these when watching the games. Ironically, usually DVR games, so the game is over, but I am wear them anyway for luck.
