You have got to be kidding me with that dunk he did tonight. Up intill today I thought he could not get more then a foot off the ground.
Where the has he been all season?I cannot believe how well he has played down the stretch. Its obvious that Pop and the coaching staff have faith in him.Lets hope he can keep it up.
He will be a big part of the rotation, the rest of the way.Very impressive work lately.BTW that dunk tonight was sweet.

oh wait, guess that means Pop will take him out of the rotation now right?![]()
He sure as gets off the ground going for rebounds. I've been saying it all year - before this season is over, you're going to be glad Ime Udoka is on the team. Tonight wasn't the first time, but it was pretty good.
Let's see if he can defend Terry.
Oh... let's just enjoy tonight.
Let's see if we feel the same about him once he starts hitting the side of the iron. Thats usually his best shot
...and all this time we thought he was devoid of athleticism.![]()
Does he have the quickness to guard Howard or Terry? I think the only guys he can guard on Dallas are Wright and Singleton (because Pop likes putting him on bigger guys) and maybe Bass, but that's stretching the size matchup a lot.
Seriously though, Ime picked one uva a great time to get it together. We're gonna need contributions like this in each playoff game.
Come to think of it, he rose to a season-high level during the Hornets series last year. You may recall he had some of his best games of the season in that series.
Way to go, Ime. Don't forget it's a contract year.![]()
Agreed.
Yeah, I'm wondering who Pop will put on this guy. Maybe he'll also dust of Bowen for that assignment too.
Yes. But he did nothing in the LA's series, which pissed me off because from what I heard, Spurs brought him in in the first place because he can defense.
Hill at the 2 could guard Terry pretty well I think. They're the same height, but Hill's wingspan could bother Terry. Just tell George to wear a cup.
But remember Pop has declared Hill as "not ready for prime time"
Eh, I didn't like how Hill looked vs Terry when the Spurs were up in Dallas.
I think for Terry you put Tony Parker on him. When the Spurs have beaten Dallas, Tony Parker has made it his quest almost to take Terry out of his game. The key with Terry is to not bite on the doubles and keep him off the offensive glass and open 3s.
I think the series will come down to if the Spurs can stay big with Kurt Thomas and Gooden being in there and surviving on defensive end.
Gooden Bonner and Thomas have GOT to play decent defense on Nowitzki, and they have GOT to rebound. I'm looking at you Gooden and Bonner.
Agression. No settling for outside shots. Outside of Dampier, there is no Diop this time to block shots or slow Duncan. Take it to the rack draw fouls. Finley has to keep doing this as he has lately, Mason has to do it, and Tony, Timmy, EVERYONE has to do it.
Cut down on the turnovers. The Mavericks on the fast break will make you pay with turnovers with their transition threes from Terry, Irk, Kidd, and Howard.
Whoever Howard guards, has to go at him and try and get him in foul trouble. He was the achilles heel of the Spurs in 06 and they have to gameplan better against him this time.
JJ Barea BTW.
In all honesty...I thought it was somebody else with the reverse jam
very nice dunk at the end from IME
