The guy has missed 7 games total in his 4 years as a Spur. He's hit big shots every year. This past off season, even at the age of 35, the man put countless hours in the gym to lose weight and get in better shape. And it has showed. He's had his best year as a Spur. He's scoring in more ways and creating his own shot more than ever before as a Spur.
I'm tired of the this guy gets on this site. He's the ultimate role player that every team in the NBA wished they had on their side.
Thanks for coming here in the summer of 05 Findawg. Here's to another playoff run where I know you won't go running away hiding. You'll be in the midst of battle firing and battling like you always have. Thanks again.![]()

yeah your right, but it's just tough with him starting at SF. I would love him so much more if he were a backup SF. Oh well one can only wish so much.
At least with the COM you can see what inspires them...I have no ing clue what it is that inspires the Finley fans.
My guess is crack...and lots of it.
For the record, Finley deserves major props for his two game-winning shots. Without both, the Spurs would be entering the Rose Garden where the Blazers would probably be able to run the Spurs out of the gym.
Michael Finley is the ing man right now. This guy is such a true professional and a really clutch player. No matter how bad Fin is doing in a game...he can step up and hit a game tying shot or game winning shot. Here's to you tonight Fin.![]()

I've actually seen Fin up close and personal....he's in incredible shape. He's an awesome guy and can still hit clutch shots. He may be our new "Big Shot Rob" (Big Shot Mike?)
He should still rotate with Bowen based on players they're defending...
Don't know if he's here next year or not, but either way, it's been an absolute pleasure having him....just as it was Barry and Horry...Both paid their due and more.
2 cutch shots and Finley turns into "the ultimate role player that every team in the NBA wished they had on their side"
Bashing and praising players after one good / bad game is becoming an art here !
All I know about Finley is that 28.8 minutes a game is WAY too much for him
Anyone remember on NBA 2K7 Fin was like Kobe?
