one more streak of ten:
* 10 straight playoff seasons averaging 20 or more points
* 10 consecutive playoff games with 13 or more rebounds
* 10 consecutive winning playoff appearances in the 1st round
In addition, Duncan has a streak of 9 games with 14 or more rebounds, and a streak of one game with a triple-double.
I doubt anyone in over 30 years has matched Duncan's rebounding streaks (maybe the crack spurstalk staff can verify?).
A few players have 10-year streaks winning in the first round, among them are Jordan (10), Bill Russell, Robert Horry, and maybe Magic Johnson.
Let's see if Duncan can get to 11 or a back-to-back triple double (which might be another record).

Expect more greatness from Timmy this post-season..
im sure Wilt might have....imagine if they had fantasy basketball when he played.....I see him as the top pick every single season.....
I would love for all of these to happen, I don't want to jinx him. I remember how close he can to the consecutive double-double record 2 years ago and somebody in the media jinxed him.
just because someone says something doesnt mean that tim duncan didnt get the record as a result of the statement
10 consecutive playoff series started on the home court!
Yeah, but when they mentioned that he was close to the record, he didn't get a double-double the next game he played in. I think he missed it by one rebound.
that's an impressive streak

Duncan's Record in Odd-numbered playoff years:
Games won = 70
Games lost = 27
Series won = 18
Series lost = 1
Rings won = 4
Rings not won = 1
2009???
2009 = #5
Robert Horry advanced to the second round of the playoffs every single year of his 15 year career. I am pretty sure he's got the record.
Edit: ooops my bad, every single year of 16 year career. And not only do I think that is the record for players, if a team had ever done that it would be the record too. None of Horry's teams matched his accomplishment.
